Mentoring Athletes Towards Success
Sees' M.A.T.S. Inc. is home to Sees' Basement Boys Wrestling, TNT Magnum Cheerleading and Resurrection Movement Studio. It is a 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located in Danville, PA (Former Magic River Skateland). In addition to a 58 x 46 foot wrestling mat room, we offer equipment for cheerleading and tumbling, including TWO 54 x 42 foot spring floors, rod floor, tumble trak, and trampoline.
Michael is a 2004 graduate of Shikellamy High School, where he was a four year starter for Braves Wrestling. Before finishing his high school wrestling career, he received distinguished honors including an all time career record of 116 wins and 25 losses. He was also a two time state runner-up for Shikellamy and a runner-up at the prestigious senior nationals held in Cleveland, Ohio. Michael continued his wrestling career at Bloomsburg University, where he was a four year starter at 125lbs. During his freshman year, he was awarded the honors of being the first wrestler since 1992 to have an undefeated dual meet season. Michael's college wrestling career consisted of 48 decisions, 31 major decisions, 22 technical falls, and 12 falls. Michael celebrated his 100th career win in December 2007 at the Southern Scuffle tournament, where he was runner-up. His overall college wrestling record ended with 113 wins and 21 losses. Michael was a two time EWL champion, two time EWL runner-up, four time EWL wrestler of the week, three time PSAC champion, one time PSAC runner-up, three time PSAC wrestler of the week, and in 2007, was named PSAC "Outstanding Wrestler." Michael was a FOUR time national qualifier, finishing within the top 12 in the country on two seperate occasions. Michael was also named 2008 Bloomsburg University Senior Athlete of the Year! Michael will graduate from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Sociology and he will continue to coach and be a mentor to athletes at Sees' M.A.T.S. Inc.
Mike Sees is a graduate of Shikellamy High School. He started his coaching career at the Sunbury Y.M.C.A in the early 1980's. He coached for the Shikellamy Ivy League Elementary Program before starting his own wrestling club (Sees' Basement Boys) in 1987. From 2001-2003, Mike served as the assistant wrestling coach at Shikellamy High School. At that time, he was honored with the District IV assistant coach of the year award. Mike resigned from the assistant coaching position in order to follow his son at the college level. In June 2008, Mike fulfilled a life-long dream and opened the doors to Sees' M.A.T.S. Inc.
Tonja joins her father and brother in the family business, dealing with the financial and marketing aspects of Sees' M.A.T.S. Inc.
